Travelling around our planet today it’s impossible to ignore the massive damage that our species is inflicting on our natural environments, species and our world as a whole. I’ve ridden for hours through vast palm oil plantations, recently hacked out pristine rainforests and dived on dead reefs that only a few years ago were thriving marine communities. Unless we change our way of living on this world and find a way of living with nature, not against it, our fate and that of millions of other species is bleak indeed. In this section I will highlight challenges we face and possible solutions that will help us protect our unique world.
